Who knew it was going to be this hard.

I am looking for before and afterschool care for my 5 year old and 10 year old. They will be attending Hancock. I am supposed to start work but cant because I can't find childcare.

Youth center is full and has a wait list. Primetime is full as well. All the home CDC's are full. Don't know what we are supposed to do, I would think with so many people transferring in the summer there would be openings, guess I was wrong.

That TOTALLY SUCKS. If I didn't have a baby coming in October I'd say I could do it because my DD is starting school up there this fall too. If I hear of anyone looking for a little job like that would you like me to let you know?

That is probably why there is no openings at the moment. People PCSing in, book their child into everywhere to see what they can get and the prices. You will probably find places opening up once school starts, untill then see if the youth center has a list of Red Cross certified babysitters

Well I am supposed to start work on the 16th of August. I am not sure of my workhours but I know they are 8 hour days. So I would imagine starting at around 6:30 am probably until around 4:30 until school starts then just before and after school. My son is going into kindergarden and my daughter is going into 5th. So it would be drop off around 6:30 and pick up around 4:30 but they have to be taken to and picked up from school. I will find out my work schedule once I start working. But like I said it's 8 hour days and a 40 hr wk.

I have a 2yr Old and My sister is here until the 18th of August, she's going to be 18 next year and has baby sat herself before So her being here won't be a promblem for me getting your kids to school and back. I'm willing to help out if you need someone to do this still, and I am free pretty much 24/7 to meet at a park and chat as well. I'm a 21yr old Navy wife, SAHM, and I of course have my own car. I am a pretty open person so ask anything you want to. I have pictures of me, DH, and DD on here in my profile/signature. Oh and I live not even 8mins from you, so meeting you at a public place like one of the parks over there or even the popeyes() is easy to do.
    Signature removed due to size.
