Correct me if I am wrong, but if anyone lives in Lincoln housing is the "rent" the same as the BAH based on rank? Basically no matter what the your entire BAH is used?

Not in some parts of San Diego expecially out in Lakeside and Ramona etc because no one really wants to live that far from base. So as an incentive they do a flat rate for BAH and you get what is left over. Which will probably go in your gas tank anyways but hey its better than nothing.

Yea it varies. I think Lofgren terrace in eastlake also is a flatrate and you can bank some BAH off it.

I lived in Miramar housing before we bought our house. It was nice, I loved the convienece of everything, I literally lived next door to starbucks, commy, mcx, dr office, post office etc. But all our bah was going towards rent. So we decided to go ahead and buy something in Escondido.
