We haven't done any research yet but I'm wondering if some one here might have some good ideas for us.
We need to move like ASAP. We'd like to go somewhere in CA. It needs to be near a reserve center, a commissary and a university. I'd like it to be near I5 if at all possible but not necessary. |

There is a TON available in San Diego right now which fills those requirements!! A TON! I have to put my 30 days in where I am living and we are having trouble because no one wants to rent to us next month they want us to take something now because so much is vacant. Only problem is it can get pretty pricy depending on what area you move to. We live in the UTC area and LOVE it!!

I'm looking for location names. Like the cities they are in. San Diego would be our dream location but we feel we would have to much trouble affording a place to live and keeping up on our regular bills. We will be renting either a 3 or 4 bedroom house. Ideally it would be 4 bedrooms so we don't have to share a room with the baby.

How much you want to spend???? Here is is all about the $$. You can get a lot, but you usually have to pay for it. I live in Linda Vista area, but is a section of San Diego. We like it, but it is housing. I have always looked at AHRN.com for houses for rent. They can give you a lot of info!!

John lost his job so we are selling our house and living off savings and unemployment. The thing is we have to finish up the few projects we have started around the house to get it ready for sale and move before we use up all our savings. Its sort of a win and a loose situation. If the house doesn't sell soon enough theres nothing we can do. moving will get us the heck of here. I'm sure everyone knows how much we hate it here. Johns going to use the GI bill and go to school while working part time. Going back in the Navy just doesn't seem probable in the near future. Its been almost two year of him trying to get back in and we are only at the first part of the second step.
We can't sit idle waiting on the Navy anymore. We wont have much to spend. Right now, realistically, we need about $3000 a month for all our bills, mortgage, car payments, groceries and what not. We have no extras we can cut out. plus we have medical bills up the wazoo for the birth of the baby. |
