PENDLETON PEOPLES!
Anyone have info on apartments/things to do/see in pendleton? Any tips?

there are tons of things to do around here. Irvine Spectrum for shopping, about forty minutes from Disneyland/Anaheim Stadium/the Pond, awesome surfing at Trestles, about an hour from downtown San Diego -- the Zoo, SeaWorld, Qualcomm Stadium.
apartments really depend on where on Pendleton you are visiting/located. Oceanside is closer to main side but San Clemente (where I live ) is closer to San Onofre.

Well I don't know much about the mainside area but I'm over in San Clemente and there really is a lot to do. We go to the movies and the Irvine Spectrum Center isn't too far and is a fun place to go shopping. Disneyland and California adventure are a short distance and then there is Knotts which I hear has some pretty awesome rollar coasters [which I still haven't been to!]. If your looking for a place btw, the apartment complex we just moved into totally just lowered their prices and its really close to down town. The other thing I love is that almost everyone here is affiliated with the military. All my neighbors are military and it's great because whenever hubby had duty or is gone they keep me company. You should PM me if your thinking about moving here!

I live over here by mainside! I love it! We love going downtown at night on the pier in Oceanside. Oh Thursdays they usually shut down like three streets and have this huge farmers market thing from like 6-9. I think its over for the year now though. We live in Villa Del Mar apartments.. Its nice but expensive for nothing. There are a lot of pretty good apartments around here, just a word of advice stay away from creekwood villas. Its very crappy and the apartment manager is a jerk!
