Hello Ladies!! I've been looking for some fellow Colorado Springs girls! I live off of Fillmore and i-25. I work at The Broadmoor and used to live off of Westmeadow, so I know the area well!

My boyfriend is Army National Guard and is getting ready to deploy in the early part of 2010. We've been together for a year and just moved into our townhouse a few months ago.

Anyone else HATING this snowy weather this morning?! I'm just not in the mood for snow yet! I'd much rather have 70 degree days again! Guess I'll have to go get out all of my sweaters!

I don't but my DH is getting out of the Navy in Dec and he may have a job offer over there.

The only thing I'm worried about is we would have to move there Dec/Jan and neither of us has driven in snow before.

We both grew up in Hawai'i so don't have much experience with snow.

I would love to spend some time in Hawaii!! And I can understand about driving in snow - it really isn't a lot of fun!

But you get used to it! I'd suggest a 4 wheel drive SUV or a car that has all wheel drive, especially if you aren't used to it. They're pretty good at plowing roads down here though.

You'll have to learn how to ski or snowboard - that's the best part of living in Colorado! There are so many beautiful places to visit!
