looking for apt in san diego close to 32nd

hey if any one knows of a good safe area to move to we hv a 9 month old it would help out alot thank you.........

i kno that they jus made the apt on the dry side alright for married couples but they wont allow kids

i live in an apartment off of el cajon blvd. its only like 10min from base

We live in Bayview Hills (military housing) and are 5mins from 32nd.

I live in National City, just down the street from 32nd St, and I love it. I would say the areas south of 8th Ave are the ones you want to stick to.

I used to live Downtown, 5-7 minute drive from the base. Loved it! Ds was around the same age when we lived there also. Always felt safe.

What is your price range, and how close do you want to be...like no more then a 20min drive, 10 min? Do you want base housing?

chula vista or hillcrest.. thats the only places i recommend around the base they are both around 10 min from base..i'm from san diego and those are the ones i consider a good area for a couple with a child

Weelll, Chula Vista you have to be careful, some areas are still questionable, my mom has a house off of Orange, and that's still up in the air kinda area. Just like National City, some parts are pretty nice and up and coming , and some you just kinda wanna stay away from. Same with Hillcrest, there are some questionable parts, in that area its tricky too cuz it can vary from one street to the next!

There are other cities around that base that have good and bad areas. Like Renee said, Chula Vista can be questionable depending on where one chooses to live.
