Cable Companies in SD? - SouthWestern U.S

Which ones are good? We would be getting cable and I want DVR, and internet as well.

I tried googling it, but, it only came back with cox. Is that the only one out there?

i know Cox and Time Warner are out here. We use Cox and we like it alot. some times you can find the cox people at walmart and when you sign up there you can get a pretty good deal. we have HD Cable with DVR, Internet, and unlimited long distance calling for $80 a month for the first 6 months. after that it will be $160 though if we dont call and down grade lol

Depending on your area yes cox may be it.. We're on Chula Vista and Cox was about all that was available. I believe the Murphy Canyon area can get Time Warner...

We've had them for about 2 yrs now,(since we moved in) and Cox has actually been pretty good. We have the bundle pack with expanded digital cable (with DVR and on demand) plus their "premium" internet and digital home phone. The bill runs us $160 a month without using On Demand. MUCH cheaper than we had in TX, because I paid separate companies for everything there.

We have Dish with HD and DVR for 40 a month and Time warner for internet for 30 a month. We use cell phones so no house phone. so 70 a month for cable and internet. Its a lot cheaper than the bundle packages from either place, but you can get home phone, cable and internet threw Time warner for 113 a month.

Also, now a days, you can haggle and get them to give you a better deal. I called to cancel my cable (we're going back to DirecTV at the end of the month) and they were offering me all kinds of $ off and goodies to stay with them.

hmm....well try ATT Uverse. They just started expanding service areas and their prices are great! I think tv is around $49 with DVR/HD/300 channels and $25/month for high speed internet.

We have ATT Uverse for cable (with DVR, internet and phone ( with free long distance) and we pay about 100.00 a month

We have Time Warner, and I don't like it that well. The cable box resets itself all the time. Last night in the middle of my show, this message comes up and says our cable box isn't authorized for use. I called the number it listed, and it said press 1 to reactivate. I wanted to talk to a person to see why it did that, and the hold time was 20 minutes!
