Moving to San Diego

Hello Ladies..
We are thinking about moving to the west coast. We have always been on the east coast and want to try something different.
I was looking at housing in San Diego, but I don't know anything about the area. Are there certain housing to stay away from? Which is the best. I am trying to look at the schools too. I have an daughter that will be in the 4th grade.

Any input would be great!

Yes, I know how you feel. I really think that we are going to shoot to go to San Diego or Washington.

We figure this will most likely be our last move so lets go and see a place we have never been.

I dont know much about San Diego but we have been stationed in Cali and I
loved it. I would go back. Just wanted to say welcome and hello. Also it is still
early there so give some time and Iam sure your answer will be answered/
