    Question San Diego Hospital/Clinic question?

    Advertisements
We live near San Diego (El Cajon), but we do all of our medical stuff at Camp Pendleton (personal choice). Are there any other options besides driving all the way up to Camp Pendleton today to have my daughter seen by a doctor? Are there local clinics or something that Tricare will cover even though we are normally seen at Camp Pendleton? She hurt her finger during P.E. at school yesterday and it looks pretty bad. Swollen and bruised pretty bad. We waited to see how it would be this morning and it doesn't look any better and hurts pretty bad. Anyway, tia for any info.

There is a clinic in Santee.
Our normal clinic was full, so the appt line got me an appt there, and they were great. Its brand new looking, and super nice and not packed at all. I would call the appt line and see if you can get in. We got a same day appt when I called.

There's the ER and at this time of day will be a ghost town and they will probably fast track her since it's her finger and it's not an "emergancy" so it'll be urgent care....

Actually the ER is still packed durning the days lately. Even early in the AM because so many people are sick right now.
