Hello everyone!!! I am going to put myself out there to all of you because I would like to make some more friends in the HR/VA area. I am not very good at this but I am going to try anyway.

I tend to be a bit shy.

First, my name is Meghan and I live in the Ocean View section of Norfolk. I would like to see if anyone is interested in doing a get together or something in the near future. I haven't been a military so for very long so it hasn't been terribly easy meeting other so's in the area.

Please respond to this thread if you are interests and hopefully we can come up with some ideas.

I also live in Norfolk and up for a get together with everyone. I am a SAHM now and I find it even harder to make friends. I have done this for 10 years but this is my first time moving somewhere since we have had her and I feel so cooped up sometimes. Anyways, I would love to get together. Maybe a dinner out or something.

Maybe we can get something together before I move? What about the 13th or the 14th? or the weekend after that...the 20th or 21st?
