I ABSOLUTELY adored Pensacola. Probably because I lived in Perdido Keys, and my backyard was the bay
We use to walk to this resturant called "the landing" and hang out at the beach ALL day. I LOVED IT! I truely love Pensacola. I think we will retire there.

I always went to the beach, to the forts on base & I can't remember the name of the island (Fort Pickens I think), I LOVED The Landing on Perdido. You have to be fairly laid back to really enjoy the area. It doesn't have a lot since it is more of a retirement community than a young one.

yeah BIG KAHUNAS is fun.. and Destin is beautiful.. driving towards there is nice.. you can also visit Foley, AL.. i used to drive there to shop the foley outlets.. just take hwy 98... plus while we were there, we used to eat at LAMBERTs.... like the rest of the ladies said, its very laid back.. we used to go to the movies alot. they opened a new theater b4 we left in 2004 called Rave.. DH and I loved it... just like Kat, i wouldn't mind retiring there..
