Anyone stayed there? I'll be coming down in November for the ball and I need a place to stay...I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Sneads Ferry and loved it, but I do NOT love the $91/night price tag.
The Baymont is $79/night, but I'm reading mixed reviews...apparently it's been(or is being) remodeled? The selling point for me was the lack of icky polyester coverlets on the beds! And of course the price tag... So, if any of you have stayed there, please tell me a few good and bad things about it and whether or not you would stay there again so I can make a decision...I have to book soon before the masses flock to J-ville! OoOoOo! And, if any other ladies are coming from outside of NC, I found a salon/spa with pretty awesome prices that offers a 10% discount on any service for booking early for the ball! I personally will be enjoying the Diamond Special Occasion package for under $160 ! It includes a facial, manicure, pedicure, make-up application and a special occasion hair style! Win? I think so. It's called Transformations Salon, but I forgot the website. Google!Anywho, any information about the Baymont would be lovely... Thanks! |

Hmmm...i hadnt looked at the Innkeeper...I think Extended stay was a bit out of my range...Looks like it's more research for me!
Also, just bought a new dress because, although mine fit me well enough, someone had to mention to me that my zipper puckered. And once someone mentions something like that, I panic. So, I got a new one. Same size, different style. Because the skirt if fuller and the waist seam is higher, no butt pucker!! Tell me if it's too much...I'm adding a white satin sash to it with either a bow in the back, brooch in the front; or, criss-crossing them at my hip and securing them with the brooch. got to: http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/w...ntryId=6096901 That's the one! Ok, sorry for changing my own thread! Thanks for the advice ladies...check out Transformations Salon if any of you are interested in that kind of thing for the Ball...I'm going all out in hopes os re-doing my sucky senior prom and also because I'm coming from out of state and I'm a complete noob when it comes to making myself presentable lol. |

Looking at the Ramada now...I was also looking at the Holiday Inn Express in Sneads Ferry. Thats where DB's sister, her boyfriend, myself, and DB stayed when we took him down to Lejeune. It was nice...$91 a night, but nice. Clean...the bed linens were my faaaaaavvvve! And the beach is literally like >>> right there. But it'll be November, so a beach isn't my priority lol |

. 7 hours. Alone. In my car. Alone. If DB does it for me twice a month, I can do it for him! I'll just make lotsa CDs...or something...I used to do it all the time when he was at MOS in VA...but that was only 3 or 4 hours. 7 hours alone?! That's a lotta coffee!! and driving on 95 sucks!! and things get tricky down there when ya get on 258!
