7 hours is nothing. we drive 18-20 hours every time we drive hom. I hate that drive!

You win! . I would have a heart attack on that drive! Usually I love road trips as long as I have my Journey and other various 80's hair bands to keep me company...but you can only sing "Don't Stop Believin'" so many times before you in fact stop believing that this will ever end. And people look at you funny when you do your very literal dance...alone...while you're sitting in traffic in VA...

7 hours isn't even half way for us when we drive home. It takes 8 hours from Jacksonville NC to get to Knoxville TN. By then we are beat and ready to get out of the Jeep. We make it a two day trip since we have Reese. He does good though hes used to it. Hes been making the trip since he was 10 months old.

I can't imagine doing it with a baby! I've driven my god daughter to Ocean City, MD when she was 5 months old and she was good until we had to stop for a diaper change...once she was out of that car seat she wasn't going back in! Now she's almost 2, and a genius, and if I could steal her for this road trip, I would. Plus she's in with db for some reason, so she'd love to see him! She'd be better conversation than talking to myself, that's for sure!
