Louisville/Fort Knox!!

Hey ladies!

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up next month and it will be the first time we spend a birthday together -- so I want to make it super amazing. I'll be flying up to Louisville (he's at Fort Knox) for his birthday weekend. I've been trying to find a nice restaurant to go to.. but iffy about trusting restaurant critics. I'm thinkin like 4-5 star type, gotta dress up, fancy schmancy place =)

I live in Louisville, KY right now. There are a couple of restaurants I can recommend, but they are in Louisville, not Ft. Knox. There is NOTHING by Ft. Knox.

I've never personally been, but everyone I know who has...Loved it. It's too expensive for us.

I am from Louisville, and I can tell ya in the fort knox area, there isn't anything fancy schmancy really. I would suggest Ruth's Chris. It is super expensive, but the food is good. The Seelbach is a hotel, and it has a nice restaraunt, and history. Al Capone used to go there back in the day. Porcini's is a nice restaraunt also. They have a Cheesecake Factory Restaraunt also. We go there a lot when we celebrate stuff. Oh and if you want to go to different little bars and night clubs, Bardstown road is really awesome for that. It's like a street of little places you can go and different little restaraunts too. Hope that helped some.
