macdill ladies or tampa ladies?
If you guys live there how many of you live off base and where or do you know of good apartments there? My husband and i may get stationed around tampa for recruiting duty

I live in Tampa, born and raised. DH is currently overseas though and can't get stationed at MacDill. I live about 30 minutes from base out in Wesley Chapel. There's lots of nice apartments, houses to rent and BAH is high here. (I get the old rate, but $1802 at E-6 with dependents). You have lots of options. Lots of people live in the Riverview/Brandon area and South Tampa near the base.

i live in an hour north of Tampa but i usally spend my weekends around the USF campus
 .As for aparments i can recommined against any of the "Lake Cartlon Arms" branches. Used to live there and they found a car in the lake that no one was sure how it got there yeah , really safe >>
