What kind of church are you used to or looking for?
We've gone to a Lutheran church, which had a contemporary service and wasn't our style, but they were super nice and an Episcopal church that was alright, but last time we went they were in between priests, but they have someone steady now. I'm thinking I may go again soon by myself cause I need it. |

Yeah, then I'm probably no help. We both grew up in very old school traditional churches, so we go to church with old people, lol, but it's cool, we both like it.
I believe Tate goes to First Baptist on Gum Branch if I remember correctly. Or someone went there... it's a BIG church. |

Try the First Baptist Church on Gum Branch. They have three services: Traditional, and then two contemporary services.
They also have child care etc. Heres their website you can even take a virtual tour ![]() http://www.fbcjax.net/ It is a HUGE church though so beware We are used to smaller traditional church and kinda felt like it was so big people would never get to know each other. We liked it though and plan on going back again.

First Baptist is good. The pastor is pretty young and he's a good speaker. I went there for years until I decided it was too big and was just at a different place in life than everyone in the Sunday school classes for my age group.
Lots of people go to the River of Life church, too. It's right across the street from First Baptist. |
