Dear Lejeune Ladies...
Hi!! I posted this in the general forum but didn't get any answers to my real question. When in the frick is the Birthday Ball!? Holy heck!
DB has been super busy lately because he's getting ready to go to Bragg for a few weeks and I can't get an answer out of him. I've heard Nov. 9th, but thats a Monday. Not complaining if it is...at least I only miss one day of work, but a Monday seems strange...Then I read somewhere that it was the 12th...still not complaining. The only thing I do know is that the Ball for MD units is Nov. 14th. Not very helpful lol. So, if anyone could tell me the date, that would be swellerific! I need to know so I can take off work, pay off my gown, find a hotel, and let my professors know so I can at least stand a fighting chance at not missing any exams!! Looooooooove, Me. p.s. If anyone cares to know, I bought dress style # 8567 from Davids Bridal. If you go to www.davidsbridal.com and put in the style number, you can see it. Did I do a good job? I got it in apple. Which is red. Is it too fancy? Good? Yes? No? Thanks! |

Well you'd have to tell us what unit he is in before anyone could tell you when the ball is. Each unit has a different date. Usually they are in November. Our advanced party will be gone by then so we are having ours October 2nd.

Ditto the above. Every unit has a different ball. The dress looks great though. Although DH has conveniently never been around for a ball, from what my friends have worn, that looks perfect. My friend wore a very similar dress last year to their ball in an burnt orange color.

I want to say its Nov. 12th. I remember DB saying something about it but it was so long ago. Im like 95% sure its the 12th.
