I got mine at Davids Bridal...in MD! Because I don't live down there yet. I have an even better question: WHEN IS THE BALL!? DB has been so busy lately and for the life of me I've heard 10 different dates! But Yes, Davids Bridal is awesome. I work there teehee...and we have a store near Jacksonville I believe...or somewhere near Lejeune anway...I'll hafta check!

It sucks for me because im plus size so I can't just go to pennys and grab one. Oh I need to go tanning because im tan in the strangest places, one shoulders dark, the other white. I told Dh we needed to move the boat when we were fishing

I always like trying cosignment shops. There's a little store right outside of richlands that I pass every time I drive down there...I think it's called Special Occassions? I ended up finding my dress here in Cary at a cosignment shop. Or department stores, I had some luck there too when I was just searching around.

Aaaaand I totally feel you on the tanning thing. One of my arms is tanner than the other because of the placement of the sun when I drive. Plus I have tan lines on my shoulders that are blinding

I don't know if you need a place to tan too but I go to Planet Beach on Henderson and love it. I do the stand up bed and its amazing!

I just pulled one out of the closet. I have been going to balls all my life. So I haven't shoped for one up here yet. But back home I did consignment shops. Second hand but hey they look brand new and I imagine this big town will have a lot of the same dresses. Maybe try Wilmington?

I went to Wilmington, there is a cute shop over on Henderson Ext. it's called J.L. Nicholson. Not sure what they have or prices but the dresses I've seen on the commercial are cute!!
