Ft Benning Girls- Anyone want a dog?

There is this sweet little puppy that has been hanging around my apartment complex for about 2 weeks now. my roommate and about 3 other people have been calling animal control to come get her because we feel bad that she is just sitting out in the heat all day. They basically told us they weren't going to waste their time to come pick her up because she is not being violent at all. She has no home, she sleeps under a walkway in pine straw. Various people feed her throughout the day and i change her water at least 3 times a day. We are not allowed to have animals in here or else i would take her. She looks like she is a boxer, pure breed. The only thing is, shes is very very scared of people, she wont come within 5ft of you, but when she sees people come near her she wags her tail like crazy. She looks like she is only a puppy too, she is gorgeous. Even if you cant take her, does anyone know of any resources to find her a home?

Shes so sweet, i just feel bad for her with the heat, and i definitely dont want her outside in the cold when the winter comes. I would take her if we were allowed but i live in "dorm-like" apartments. Shes just so scared, all she needs is some love
