dry onion soup mix substitutes

so i know i have a few different recipes that call for a packet of dry onion soup mix and for some reason i have not been able to find it at the commissary for a few weeks now, so i found a substitute online and DH said it was better than when i use the mix...here it is!


4 tsp. (4 crushed cubes) of beef boulion
8 tsp. minced dried onion
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. celery salt


You just mix it all together and it is the equivalent of one packet of the store-bought stuff.

You can also pre-mix it and store it for as long as you need so you aren't doing it last minute!
