seven layer dip

Does anyone have a recipe for seven layer dip? Dh wants some and I have never even eaten it cause I am allergic to avacodo's, but he said we can omit the guacamole.

I usually just make it with whatever we have around! Mine typically looks like this

Start with a layer of refried beans
Layer of shredded cheese
Layer of sour cream
Layer of salsa
Layer of olives (I like to dry them with a paper towel so they don't add moisture)
Layer of green onions
Layer of jarred/canned jalapenos (again, dried with a paper towel)

Then I refrigerate it for at least a couple of hours. I could eat 7layer dips all day!

Mine is the same only with chopped tomatoes and another layer of cheese on the top! Also avocado but none for you

Here's the one DB's sister and I made for our Super Bowl party. Since you won't be using avocados, on that layer you could do taco meat instead if you wanted..

2 cans refried beans
1 lb avocados (or guacamole..or meat)
2 pints sour cream
3-4 envelopes taco seasoning (more if you do taco meat)
tomatoes
black olives
cheese (we used cojack, but you could use any kind you wanted)
green onions

1. Mix refried beans with 1-2 packages of taco seasoning. Spread on serving dish.
2. Mix sour cream with 1-2 packages of taco seasoning. Save.
3. Layer beans, guacamole (meat), sour cream, tomatoes, black olives, cheese, and green onions.

8x8 pan

i can refried beans spread on bottom
i box cream cheese and 1 small container sour cream mixed together with 1 package of taco seasoning
lettuce
shredded cheese
diced tomato
chopped green onion
olives(I leave these off I don't really like them)

for a 13x9 pan double everything

Mine too! I love 7 layer dips and nachos with extra jalapenos and extra cheese!
