Disappearing signatures

Well, I think that the pixel guidelines are far more helpful than the lines -- it's hard to tell how many lines things are, so Sam, thank you, that info is very helpful.

And frankly, I do not understand all the butt hurt people in this thread. Before I deleted ****face out of my siggy, the size was pushing it. I would have understood if it got deleted. It's not that hard to just cut down on the **** you put below a picture. So, you have to choose between 25 tickers and a picture...

Its showing up within the guidelines now...

Also just an FYI for people... photobucket has been sucking when it comes to resizing some things. It has been taking 15-20 min to update and quite a few times hitting the refresh button to get it to change

If that's the case, then the MODS should give some time before deleting signatures, I think that's fair since even if people are trying to chance their signature but Photobucket is being slow, then it isn't really their fault.

Or people can wait until it's resized to put it in their signatures or something.

The pixel height is 250 right, Sam? I'm pretty sure it is but I haven't seen a pixel limit in a long time and my memory isn't the best. And 500 for Jewels?

I'm wondering if anyone (non Mod) is PM'ing members with large signatures when they see them? I try to when I see big ones, instead of reporting them. Sending a PM is just as easy as reporting them...

200 for jewels, and I am not sure of the pixel max for jewels, but I can try and figure it out for ya! The issue with waiting for that is the same thing that was an issue with sending out the messages. Its more time consuming then people thin to send a message, wait however long, go back and see if that person actually fixed it, and then go from there if they did or did not fix the problem...

I think it would be a really great idea if people just take a second to make sure the image has acutally resized. Most of the time if you hit refresh enough times it will go through, but only hitting it once it could take a while...

I did this for a while, but to be honest more people were rude about it then appreciative and after so long it just doesn't become worth it... Now, if its someone I know well or someone who I know for a fact's jewel just ran out then I may send a PM...

I've had it happened before. People don't like to be held accountable for their actions. I tried to be nice and finally I figured, screw it.
