Ok, maybe I'm blind or too dumb to find it..... but do we have an announcements forum?

I often find myself missing various announcements/site news/TOS updates/etc... is there a way that we could maybe have a place dedicated to site-wide news?

Where announcements/etc are posted....stickied...... etc? Because that would be awesome to contain it all in one place instead of having to search around the stickied area in a bunch of different forums.

If this already exists, would someone please kindly let me know?

The big ones usually pop up on the top of the forums as a thread you can't respond to. Otherwise they're just listen in the Site Information, usually unstickied, and they get bumped occasionally.

I think somebody said something about a mailing list that Brandi would send to as a warning to, but I've never gotten any messages pertaining to anything Plus she isn't the Site Admin anymore, so i have no idea how the new one handles it... so far it's been just coming to a down site and then eventually telling us later.

Yeah. I just think it might be easier to keep up-to-date on site changes if it was all in a specific place and stickied

I know it all used to be in the site info section, but idk what happened to that... and like ash said, sometimes they are sticked above ALL threads and you cant reply type thing...

Anything specific you are looking for?

Definitely agree. I find myself searching for new information I've missed after being gone for a few days. It'd be much easier if it was all in one place.

I think she's just suggesting a more put together place for them to be, like a section dedicated to updates, changes, and the likes. I'm all for that. It would make everything SOOOO much easier... that way we'd only get the slow ones () making threads about "OMG WHAT IS THAT!??" instead of everybody and their mother creating a thread after a change has been made

Got ya, Yea... I think most of it is supposed to be in the site info section, big stuff that has to be seen by everyone is normally posted above all threads, but haven't seen that in a while...

I know they posted a TOS Update/Reminder in the general section, maybe that should be moved here
