Post Count Change

So, as an offshoot of the "recently banned members" thread, I think it's time to reconsider the minimum post count required to gain access to certain forums.

I think a 500 post-count minimum is reasonable. Today with text capabilities, it's not difficult to reach 250 posts in a weekend, and I don't think that gives people enough time to get to know each other.

Sound reasonable?

I agree. There are members who have gotten the same number of posts that I have in over a year and a half, in the matter of a few months.

I wouldn't mind a minimum membership length either. 3 months? Just a thought.

Throw out some proposed suggestions (forums + post count required) and I'll get with Lee and the other mods to see what they think. I'm not opposed to it though.

Yep. For all forum areas other than secret garden.

Secret garden is..1500 and 6 months, correct? Maybe even up the posts on that too
