About Dear SOS - Site Information

Just a friendly reminder to everyone on the board about Dear SOS. We have been getting an influx of posts by people confessing their problems and venting about issues in their lives that we can't approve because they do not follow the guidelines of Dear SOS. The purpose of Dear SOS is to be a Dear Abby kind of forum, where people can anonymously ask for advice, and not a Post Secret kind of confessional. Unless the post asks for advice, we can not approve it. There have been a lot of posts that talk about issues that we feel people really need support with, but because they don't ask a specific question they aren't being approved. We really encourage people to ask for advice or opinions when they form their Dear SOS posts so that they aren't left in eternal moderation.

If you have posted a Dear SOS recently that was never approved, that is why. Please, feel free to post it again, under the Dear SOS name, and add a question or ask for advice at the end, and it will be approved the second time around.
