Ingredients for casserole:
2 lbs of shredded potatoes *can use store bought hashbrowns*, or shred about 4 baked potatoes.
1/2 cup melted margarine
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon slat
1/2 cup finely shopped onions

Ingredients for topping
1 sleeve crackers *any kind* crushed
1/2 stick of margarine, melted

For casserole
Combine potatoes with 1/2 cup melted margarine. Add other ingredients and place in a rectangular casserole dish.

mix cracker crumbs with melted margarine, and sprinkle over potato mixture.

bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.

This tastes really similar to Cracker Barrel's hasbrown casserole. :eat
