I don't like cream corn that comes in a can. I LOVE it homemade. This stuff is seriously addicting.
2 (10 oz) packages of frozen corn kernels, thawed
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp granulated white sugar
2 tbsp butter
ground black pepper to taste
1 cup whole milk
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
In large skillet over medium heat, combine corn, heavy cream, salt, sugar, butter and black pepper. Whisk together milk and flour and stir into corn mixture. Cook stirring over medium heat until mixture is thickened and corn is cooked through. Remove from heat, and stir in the parmesan cheese until melted. Serve hot.
