You could make a cheesy potato casserole. That is a huge hit when we have cookouts.
1 bag of THAWED hasbrowns (the cube kind)
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 8oz. sour cream
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Mix the Cream of Chicken soup and Sour cream together in a bowl. Add 1/2 the cheese to the mixture and mix together. Mix in the thawed hashbrowns. *Note* Hashbrowns MUST be thawed otherwise they don't cook right and taste funky! Spread the mixture into a baking pan (9x13 or similar...a cake pan lol). Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the mixture and put it in the oven at 350* for 45 minutes. It's Delicious!
My aunt introduced me to grilled artichokes this summer.
You do still have to steam them, but not all the way and then squeeze a bit of lemon juice and vinegar on them, toss them on the grill for a few minutes. They're a nice change from the regular steamed chokes!
