    Noodles....

    Advertisements
I've got some pork chops defrosting for dinner. Then realized I really had "nothing" to go with them. Have some chicken flavored noodles, but hubby won't eat them unless it's with chicken.

I do have a package of egg noodles, but who want's plain egg noodles? LOL Other than adding butter to them after I cook them, what ideas do any of you have to make a tasty side dish with them??

You can make a brown gravy to go atop the pork chops and egg noodles.

That's a good option. DS and I would like that but DH rarely uses gravy.

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

He'll eat anything...he likes to tell me of his delicacy choices while in Korea.

He just doesn't like gravies and saucies

and when we go married oh so many years ago, he didn't want me to use packaged foods. Had to be from scratch like his mom. LOL. He's learned now. hehe

I decided to make the noodles and after cooking them add some mixed vegetables and cream of mushroom soup to them. It sounds good in my head. LOL

The noodles came out great! DH really liked them. Not even any leftovers to go with the leftover pork chops. AND he complimented me on the way the chops came out!

That sounds great! I always keep cream of chicken/mushroom/celery etc in the cupboard because they enhance everything!
