i dont add a fixed amount of anything BUT I boil the potatoes whole, not peeled. Once they are soft (a fork can go through them) I take them off. Let them cool. Peel with a butter knife, the skin should fall right off. Then cut into small pieces. Add mayo and mustard to taste as well as onions and sweet pickles (very few!) and a LITTLE pickle juice.
I also cook bacon and add it in...but its all just random amounts probably doesnt help lol

Boiled potaties, with skin on (cleaned though), peas, the long green sweet ones (peacoks??), corn etc. what ever you like and want in it. Then take pesto and mix it with some more olive oil and salt. Then mix all the ingredients in with the sauce. I normally do it with the potatoes a bit warm.

The way i do mine starts the same as the others, boil with skin on until a fork can go through. Let them cool down, peel & chop into cubes. I add celery & a very small amount of red onion (im not a fan of onion) & sometimes olives. Then I add in the light mayo & if im in the mood mustard. Mix all together then top off with salt & pepper or cajun creole seasoning or all of them. I know some people add boiled eggs to theirs, but I normally dont, its just a matter of preference. Oh I do want to add that if im serving it cold i put the mixture in the fridge for a half hour or so before adding the mayo & mustard.

Boiled potatoes, chopped.
Light mayo Honey Mustard Paprika boiled egg, chopped. The honey mustard gives it a sweeter, creamier, yummy taste. Folks LOVE my potato salad. Mixed together, chilled, served cold. You can add onions if you choose, I hate em so I don't ![]() I don't measure either. Just kinda "until it looks right"
