Question Substituting olive oil for vegetable oil...
In a pasta salad. Would it work or should I stick to the vegetable oil? I'm using the Betty Crocker suddenly pasta ( ceasar ) salad mix and it calls for 1/4 cup of vegetable oil.

I think in a pasta salad, its fine. Not for baking, though.

Yeah, it should be fine for pasta salad! It actually sounds like the olive oil would make it taste better also!

I use olive oil all the time instead of veggie oil. It will make it taste better plus it is healthier.

It will work, just use a light olive oil (not the darker one).

It is a healthier option for sure.

I have used olive oil on that and it tasted good.
