I am in love with this salad dressing...

Yesterday on the Today show, the lady said the best simple salad dressing is just oil, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper. I have had two salads since, and I am in love!

It's so simple - I never would have guessed.
I think I'm going to have to have another salad. YUM!

That sounds really good!!! What kind of vinegar did they use? Red wine? And do you use dijon?

Yummy!!! I make a dressing exactly like that, but I put sugar in it too!!

There's really no instructions. She didn't give any measurements - just throw the mustard, vinegar, and oil together, add salt and pepper, and whisk it together. I eyeballed it to do approximately equal parts of everything, then just added a few shakes of salt and pepper.

Sooo good! But then again, I love mustard and vinegar.

No, it's very tart because I used regular mustard.

I don't know what she used. I have a whole shelf full of vinegars, but I started with organic white, and it was delish! I didn't use dijon, but I bet that would be good too. I thought of you because I'm making asparagus tonight for dinner, and now I think I'll put them over fresh greens and drizzle in this!
