As for a sign? He is going to be happy being with his family, sign or no sign.
It’s very shocking to see something other than “Sorry, there are no new posts to view.”

DH: Thank you. ME: For what, babe? DH: For being you.

thought I'd keep this bad boy alive, you know for old time's sake.

I know OP is done with the homecoming but I personally find signs are tacky. You do you though.

I kind of agree. Kids holding signs (especially if they clearly made or helped make them) is sort of mildly cute. For adults, I don't really get it, but I don't have to get it because it's not my life or my homecoming/reunion.

I've done signs. I've done no signs. First time I did a sign was when the boat pulled in on dh's bday so I made a giant birthday card. He loved it, but we're cheeseballs so it works for us.

I'm not really a fan of signs. With that being said, now that we have DD I could see showing up and making the sign (or additionally decorating the sign) as a way to channel her energy during the wait.
