    Rut

I'm in a rut...I was doing good and now it feels like I'm not doing good at all.

What do people do with one year olds for fun that doesn't cost any or that much money? I want to bond with him and teach him by not staying stuck inside all the time.

I suck at grocery shopping for dinner plans throughout the week. It's just me and jayce so I have no idea what to make. I feel like I never have enough groceries we need even though it's just us.

How can I feel like a less sucky parent when I only see jayce from 5-8 on the weeknights ( when I get off work and his bedtime) it's feels so rushed, we get home, we eat, he gets a bath and we play a little it, and then he goes to bed. I feel like we get no time together. I want to teach him things, I want to hang out with him. Work totally has been ruining this for me since I had my hours changed. I miss my little man.

What are things that could help me? I need help I don't want people around me to know I'm struggling with this.

    Advice anyone?

Childless as well but my stepsister has four girls. She plans a big event for each of them that can be their mommy time. It helps her give one om one attention to them and helps her find out what they're interested in so she can tailor her relationships with them accordingly. Idk if that could help you at all.

My Dd got a trip to the library every week. And once a month our library even did bedtime stories. I made it a big deal to go get new books and then there were new stories before bedtime that night. I always limited how many we could get at once but she loved books and would have brought them all home. We even got dvds at times as a special treat.
