    what to do

    Advertisements
My boss said he might be taking the afternoon off work tomorrow to work on the farm. He said he would email me late Monday night to let me know.

It's 11PM... haven't heard from him. I pulled my back today moving furniture and I'm having trouble walking and I don't think I could really do anything tomorrow anyway.

Should I email him and tell him? If he plans on working I feel bad not going, cause I had to miss a day as a result of the car debacle. But he hasn't let me know yet if he even intends to work tomorrow yet. blah.

I would let him know just in case, I mean I am sure he will understand. I think it's just a common courtesy to let him know, IMO.

I wouldn't say "Hey I'm not coming" first. I'd say "Hey, are you planning on coming in tomorrow?" and if he says no, then cool. If he says yes, then you could say "Well I'm feeling bad" etc.

ugh he just emailed me telling me he wants me to come. I asked if I could let him know in the morning if I'm able to move around, and if it's ok if I can't make it in but no response yet. Probably won't get one. Rawr.

If you don't get a response, show up so he knows you're truly unable to do much due to your back.
