Tonight we're going out to eat for my step-dad's birthday, then I'm going to see a concert with my friends. I'm pretty excited about! I haven't really gone out in a while!

AND I GET PAID TODAY!

Even though I still haven't gotten a letter this week yesterday was actually really fun.

We went and ate at this really fancy place though, and what I got was NOT good at all. I got "Pan fried chicken" and it was fried.. It was like, a roasted chicken breast with the skin still on it, it wasn't even crispy at all

.

But then I went to this Horse Racing track here in Houston and saw Cory Morrow and the Eli Young band, which are both Texas country music artists. It was SO fun. I didn't get home till like 2:30 though.

Then work messed up on my check so had to pay me $600.00 in cash, haha.

How was the kid's first week back at school?

You'll get a letter soon. They run those guys pretty ragged. I'm sure he's thinking about you even if he doesn't have time to tell you.

I'm sorry you had a bad dinner. I'm glad you had fun at the concert with your friends though. Hopefully you didn't have to work early this morning.

Oh darn...they had to pay you in cash.

LOL Saved you a trip to the bank though.

My Friday was good. The kids had a great first week at school. They finally got to see their friends.

Only one more day left of the weekend.

I'm going to Target and Walmart to buy some moving supplies / food for when I move next week!

I'm glad you had the whole weekend off. I would have been dragging if I had to work the next day. Today we bought DH a car. His commuter car was on it's last leg. You're moving into the dorms? Will you have your own room or a roommate? If you have to share, do you get to pick your own roomie or are they assigned? I know nothing about how dorms work.

I went to college after I was married. If I send you something, will you still get it at the address that you put on the SS survey? I'm off to go watch some meteors. Have a great night and an awesome Monday!

Yup! I'd rather you send it to that address. My college is kind of in the ghetto, so I'm scared if you were to send me something cool it would get stolen. The address is my parents house so it'll get there safe and sound!

What kind of car did y'all get?

I have a room mate, but I know her. I actually live in a sorority house so it's one of my sorority sisters I've known for a year, we get along really good so it's good!

How were the meteors? I was too tired to watch.

I've been having a lot of trouble with DB's ex... so today was kind of rough for me, but it wasn't too bad! How was your Monday?

At least you have a safe place to get your mail. We have an unsecured mail box and I hate it.

We got a used Honda Civic. It gets awesome gas mileage which we need.

At least you know the girl you'll be rooming with. Sorority house.... PARTY AT STEPHANIE'S PAD!!!

I was only able to catch a few meteors. I wanted to stay up and watch more, but I was too tired.

As for DB's ex... I would try to ignore her. I think she is trying to get you all riled up because she knows that your DB is away. He doesn't have Internet, so he'll have to check after he comes back to you. If he goes running back to her, although it would hurt, let her have him. You want a guy that is devoted to you, commited to you 100%. You deserve the best.

Time to get the kids ready for school tomorrow. Have a great night!
