How was your weekend? I hope you are feeling better. Were you able to spend it with your dh?

For my weekend: Dh bought a tv. I did laundry. We are a bunch of party animals. LOL

I am feeling better. My weekend was pretty good. DH and I went out and got me a car but I can't drive it yet cause the DMV was already closed and DH couldn't get a hold of his LPO to see about going in late today so we could get it taken care off. That was Saturday. Sunday we went to the animal shelter and adopted a cat. We are waiting until Thursday to find out the kitten we also wanted is available. If he is then we will have Marty and Skipper. Now I just need to get a camera to take pictures of my furbaby.

OMG- How exciting!!! A car, a cat, and possibly a kitten! What kind of car? What kind of cat?

It is a 2002 Kia Spectra. We could only afford a used car right now but I love it. I am not sure what breed my cat is but he is black with a white belly and white paws. His name is Marty. We adopted him from the local shelter. I just need to upload the pictures to the computer and then I can post them.

Ugh. The icky bug struck our house. I'm sorry I've been MIA.

That's cool about the car. There's nothing wrong with used cars. Let someone else eat the depreciation of a new one.

Marty sounds totally cute! We got our cat from the shelter too. Were you able to get Skipper too?

What are you doing this weekend? I have an FRG meeting to go to tomorrow. Then it's time to attack the house.

Well if I hadn't gotten married, my dad and I would be picking out the 2009 Chevy Cobalt that I have had my heart set on for years but oh well.

Marty is totally adorable. Unfortunately one of the volunteers at the shelter didn't check the file yesterday morning to see if there was already a application for him in there and adopted him out to another person. I was so mad. We put in the application on Sunday and that lady was too stupid to check the file before adopting him out. So I had to break the news to my husband and it broke my hear to have to tell him that he kitten who he fell in love with was given to someone else because of that one volunteer's mistake.

Tomorrow I will be bored out of my mind all day because it is a duty day for DH. I might try to call my cousins who live down here. Sunday, it looks like we will be going back to the shelter for DH to pick out another kitten. The woman who screwed up better not be there or I am going to be giving her a piece of my mind.
