    Holiday Baking PSA

Check those expiration dates! I went to make some Pumpkin Sugar Cookies only to find my Baking Soda, Baking Powder, and even my Vanilla expired in 2009

No wonder I always struggle with those chocolate chip cookies rising correctly

I bake enough to never have to worry about that. Though I should check the other stuff in my cabinet, some things have been in there awhile

I do too but baking soda/powder are always just a tsp here and there. I never even thought about it I also found quite a few other things that had expired its a good time of year to clear out some unneeded/expired items. But now I cannot make my cookies

about a year ago DB and I cleaned out his parents fridge. We found frozen cookie dough that was put there 4 years before. Condiments as well, we try to weed ours out every couple of months.
