Help Need help/advice/inspiration for a Spouses get together....

    Advertisements
We are to be bringing our favorite appetizer to a spouses meeting at the Squadron Commander's wife's house next Wednesday night. I have no freakin clue what to make considering my appetizers tend to be chips, dip, fruit platter, veggie platter, or cheese/meat crackers platter.
Anyone have any ideas?! Oh and I'm supposed to bring copies of the recipe!
If you cannot get past my size and my exterior, there is no way I'm letting you know how great I am on the inside as bestsellers are not judged by their covers"

You could make spinach puffs. They're super easy to make - just get the store bought, frozen pastry cups and fill them with spinach, cheese, and sprinkle some bread crumbs over the top, brush with butter or olive oil and cook. They're super yummy - and look really classy
Stuffed mushrooms are pretty easy and can be done in a variety of ways. Another easy one, if you like blue cheeses - cut pears into slices with a dip in the top and fill them in with a blue cheese (any kind works). PM me if you need more ideas, I'll keep brainstorming for you

BLT dip, Taco Dip, Cranberry Meatballs (like swedish), fruit salsa w/ginger chips (my fav!), fruit and cheese kabobs, artichoke nibbles, apple wonton bundles (too easy), tortellini appetizers, cucumber ham roll ups, bacon-broccoli cheese ball.

Oh sooooo many to chose from!

    Make all these too.

BTW, if you have too much food by any chance, I will be happy to come help clean up.
