Look into Grossmont College. They have some awesome medical courses that dont take too long and I believe they have one for that route. Can't remember though.

If you get a regular degree (associates or what not), then you need the general classes. If you go to a trade school, you just go through their condensed program, which I think lasts about 9-14 months. Here are some links that might help with giving you some info on general requirements and such:
