I'm SO excited

I signed up & paid for a class (3 units) yesterday and start Jan 3. It's only for a month, as it's an intercession class. I'm going to feel stupid at first since I'm pregnant and I'm sure most of them will be single college students, but oh well... It's only one stinking class, but I can't help but be excited. I've been saying for a long time now that I wanted to start back up school and now I'm finally taking a step towards it. Baby step, but a step

It's Sociology 101 and its Mon-Thurs for 3 hours in the morning. 1 class down and about 39 more to go I could of chosen an online course, but I really want the whole "discussion" feeling w/ being in the room and it'll do me good to get out & in that environment.

Maybe after this one, I can sign up for one or two this fall

Oh and another thing that feels really good about it is the fact he is so excited and supportive of it, since he is bringing in the only income and money isn't exactly overflowing. Even though I was going to do it, he had said he'd make me take one

Cool. Did you do that at city college? I was thinking about signing up for the intersession too...

You should girl! It cost about $80 something for the 3 units.

They tried to charge me over $500 b/c somehow they got the idea I was out of state, but yeah, that got fixed reaaaal quick

Yeah, Phil made me feel better about it last night. He brought up the fact that I am even going to school and want to better my life while there are many women out there who like to abuse the gov and not work, etc.
