Student Loans
Does anyone know of a good student loan to get? I guess my husband needs one cause hes having problems getting his G.I. Bill. All the student loans he has seen have really bad intrest rates. So I was just wondering if any of you can reccommend one. TIA!

I was about to post about the GI Bill and people having problems. Atleast up here in GL. Word was put out that the schools notified the GI Bill people and they are so backed up that money that should have been posted the beginning of Feb for January's tuition may not even be there by March. People are having to start all over from the very beginning with certifications and all.
Guess none of this matters in your husband's situation since he isn't planning on using the GI Bill for the schooling he wants. Just wanted to add that |

I think.... most schools make you fill out a FAFSA even if you are getting the GI Bill or TA. My Dh had to at the two different colleges he attended. He ended up getting TA to pay 80% and Gi Bill paided the other about 20%. When he filled out the FAFSA he also quailfied for Pell Grants and he used those for books, so got his degree for free! Punk!!
The school financial aid office can help too! |
