Ok! =) - School & Work

Well, after alot of going back and forth with my life at the moment. I called the nursing dept at Chipola College here in Marianna, and inquired about their CNA program. The lady was like well right now we are needing a few more applications to get the program going (they only allow 20 people) and if I was interested now is the perfect opprotunity! The only requirement is taking the TABE test which seems pretty easy. I am taking it in the morning 8-12 and then I have to go fill out the entrance application at the nursing dept! And hopefully I will be in!!! I am super excited!! I know CNA isn't as colorful as a RN, but we all have to start somewhere and there is a huge need for CNAs and nurses in this area and they are offering bonuses and maybe I can find someone to help me go to nursing school in the future!
The classes will be Mon-Fri 8-4 and its a 120 hr program. Then I take the CNA board! I am so excited because I went to a tech highschool and was in the nursing program. My 1st yr all we did was the CNA program and I passed it with flying colors... I was just too stupid back them to go take the board because I was like I don't need this Im going to be a RN. Ohhh how niave I was back then thinking everything was always going to be so easy... But, things are starting to look up!!!

Thats great..I worked as a CNA for awhile, it wasn't for me. But it is a step in the right direction!
