Nope, we have to change every 90 days to something completely different. With that said, I would at a non-profit with a 16 person staff so it's definitely not corporate.

- I am the manager and if my employee is out unexpectedly I need to log in to their work voicemail (aka their physical desk phone) or email to access info and keep deadlines being met.

No, though as Cindy has said, email could be accessed by IT. My phone is my phone and they pay a part (on my account), so it's mine

My boss has it in case she needs to check or change my voicemail if I'm going to be out unexpectedly for awhile. I'm sure she also has all of our email passwords, but has never (to my knowledge) used them. It's just a work email, although occasionally my mom will email me from her work email throughout the day.

At one place I worked yes, HR kept track of our passwords, when I worked for a state agency no but if I was leaving town I usually gave it to my boss just incase.

I work from home, so no, no one has access to my stuff. Well, my husband does, but that's not what you mean.

I worked IT for an insurance company many moons ago. We had access to everything and didn't need passwords to get to it. Anything that went through the phone system or the company's servers, we could access it very easily.
