going to school out of state - School & Work

I have a question. With the new bills that they are passing to allow spouses the same stuff with not having to change residency while active duty... how would this impact schools?

Like our state of record is Virginia and I wanted to go to school in NC would I still have to pay out of state tuition?

Are you livng in NC? I know here in California an in Florida, both colleges I've attended have offered military members and dependants in state tuition when they are stationed there. I don't know about the bills effect on it.

No we live in VA about 15 miles from the NC line.

But dh is stationed in Norfolk

There are several schools in NC that are offering Masters programs that I am interested in and sadly enough they would be closer than me having to drive to Richmond
