Physical Education Credit
If your degree requires a PE class, what class did you take?
I know this is a broad question, as I'm sure different schools offer different courses, I'm just curious. I have to take 2 credits of PE, so I'm trying to decide what to take. Last edited by LindsayLin; 10-31-2009 at 12:45 PM. Reason: new title |

hmm. I have been considering taking a PE credit just so I get some exercise in. But I don't NEED the credit and I am about to be a Senior. So I have less and less flexibility in what my schedule is. So I would have to take whatever fit my schedule and it was tennis or water aerobics for people with back problems. LOL. So I passed on that.
I would have done a yoga or a dance type class. Anything low impact but not sporty. And not in the pool unless it was my last class of the day.

I didn't need to take a PE class, but I did one summer just keep my finaid. I took a walking class and it was the easiest credit I've earned lol.
I wish my school had the "cool" PE classes -- dance, self defense, etc.

I took; Weight training, swimming, basketball, volleyball, golf, soccer, dance, softball, tennis, gymnastics, and outdoor leisure pursuits
I am a PE major. At my school if you are not a kinesiology student you can't take the PE classes, so ours are focused on learning how to teach the activities. My favorite was the outdoor class, we went surfing, kayaking, rock climbing, it was awesome.
