Balancing.
I am doing School at home, my class takes me 10 hours a day, but i have my 9 mo old. and its very difficult for me to get my work done without losing time with her.
if you do school at home for a long period, how do you balance kids along with the work? i want to avoid staying up til 2 am, struggeling to get work done. TIA |

Im not doing this, but Id like to in the future. Do you have someone who could come over for a couple hours, or take her for a couple hours? I know some babysitters are willing to be a mothers helper and come over and keep the kids amused while the mom gets some stuff done.
I found one that I will probably use if I start some online classes.She is 5 an hour. Even if she only there for an hour I can work pretty hard and get a lot done in that hour I figure.

i mean my friend missy off of here has offered to take emi for a few hours for me before, and it would be good for emi to see new faces that sorta thing, but she has college, and my DH is
 in me about how i shouldnt fall behind. which im not, but i just hate the thought of me losing time with emi bci have to much work.

Missy can take Emi on weekends and after Mike leaves, Mon, Fri im free all day, and tues., wed. thurs night im free! I told you just let me know! Im sure Mike would like to play daddy for a day too, we can take her out lol

I don't have a magic potion either. I don't have any children, but I'm a second year law student taking 20+ credit hours a semester and then coming home to change clothes and go to work til 10/11 and then coming home to squeeze in homework. I find myself staying up until 2, 3, sometimes 4 a.m. researching cases and reading textbooks. I couldn't imagine having an infant too!! Good luck!!
