I'm really worried.... - School & Work

I'm graduating from high school in june and after that I'm moving down to NC with my DH. I've contacted a community college there...Coastal Carolina, and I just got info about the different types of medical programs they have there. My goal is to get into the Surgical Technology program...but they only take the first 16 who are qualified! That's so limited...ugh. I feel like it will be harder to get into that program at that school and I don't want to drive 2-3 hours just to go to a different school. So i was thinking if i didn't get into that program, I could try medical office administration since I've already had experience in an office enviorment for 2 years. Then just go back to school for Surgical Tech later. I feel like I'm so limited to things down there. I'm not sure if my plan with work either...ugh.

sucks not having a set plan doesn't it? I feel ya. I'm going to school now but I have to transfer if I want to be close to DB so I'm still not sure what I'm going to be doing either. I hope you get in! Good luck.

I hope so too. I am definately going to go to school. I just don't want it to take long... i'll get lazy lol.

Keep your head up. Those programs are VERY selective no matter where you are, and the more selective ones are usually the better ones. Just work as hard as you can and then you can at the very LEAST have the satisfaction of knowing you did your best.

Yeah, I definitely have to get another degree...the one I have now isn't worth much! ha I was the opposite way though...I took one semester off after undergrad and it was driving me nuts to be out of school.

Yeah. I don't want to take a break. I want to go straight there. I'll stay motivated though, you can't do anything in life with some education.
