trying to keep my head above water....

I dont have a certain "cookbook" cuz mine is just a 3 ring binder filled with old family recipes. Some are almost 75 years old!
But Toby has the Jeff Foxworthy redneck cookbook and he likes that one! And the Racheal Ray cookbooks are nice! Was there a certain recipe you were looking for?

Thanks! I have yet to make most of them though
![]() I think if you want something with a lot of different recipes, I would try the Racheal Ray cookbooks. They have a lot of different variations to some really neat recipes!

when i started out in my first apartment, my grandmother got me the big red betty crocker cookbook and the betty crocker cookie book (i like to bake)... my mom, grandma, and aunts all have these books (older editions, obviously) so i guess it's getting to be a tradition.
but the best thing i did when i got my own place was photocopy all the family/friend recipes my mom has collected because those recipes are my comfort foods... the things she made most frequently. and comfort foods are great to have when you're starting your own home

I love my better homes and gardens cook book. It is the one that has a red and white gingham check on it. All of the recipies are super easy. It is very easy to use and understand.
