Anyone ever make Homemade Ravioli??? - Recipes

It looks easy (I'm watching Everyday Italian).....I'm thinking I might try to make it soon.....

She's doing a chicken/cheese/basil ravioli......sounds delicious.. She used a rotiseirri (sp) chicken

Yes, but its time consuming...BUT, thanks to kitchen aide, its made easier, i feel like a bad italian...

Oooh yea lol that is my favorite thing my DH cooks.

He makes the pasta for it from scratch then fills it with either meat (he seasons it himself) or cheese. Then I help him put them all together... he cooks them different ways for the filling inside. They are sooo good but take awhile to make.

I take one day every few months and make a huge batch. The great thing about them is you can put whatever you want in them. Our kids favorites are the regular meat, seasoning, and garlic. I love the chicken, basil, and feta cheese.

I tried once, but they turned out to be like stuffed soggy biscuits. needless to say I think I messed up somewhere along the recipie lol

Fun to make, but they take a while. I live cutting them out and folding them up. It helps to have a little folder thingy.

Oh yeah making these are fun. My dad taught me to make them and I had some lobster filled ravioli one day at a restaurant so I decided to try that with a white alfredo type of sauce and it was some good stuff.

Yep that's what I do. And then when Im ready to use some I just toss in boiling water.
